Don't mess with my heart
My wonderful roommate Michelle just said this to our other roommate Jennie.

Finding the Perfect Jerk That Works For You
Today's Quote:
"I need to find a guy with the jerky qualities that mesh well with me."
Interpretation:
As a friend of our likes to say: "Men are pigs" (This is a guy who says this by the way...)
As of late there have been a few guys in our lives that have been jerks.We came to the conclusion that our friends statement is true. The guys that you think are nice, good guys and wont do anything to be put on the bad list...well they always end up doing something that puts them on the bad list.
As we were discussing this all on a drive back from Salt Lake earlier this afternoon I came up with a cleaver concept.
If all men are jerks then I have only 2 options in life:
1. Don't get married
2. Marry a jerk
I don't like either option much. It is true that not all men are jerks all the time. Some are genuinely nice guys who just screw up from time to time. They are confused and don't understand girls so I suppose we can't blame them completely. Half the time they don't know they are being jerks. That's because every girl is different. Something that would be fine with one girl might tick another girl off. This makes things very complicated for both parties. Here are a few tips for everyone.
Tips for the ladies: Every girl has a different definition of what defines a guy as a jerk. There are some qualities we have a hard time dealing with and others that might annoy us but that we can live with. As girls we need to figure out what we can handle and what we can't. So if you here a girl say "that guys a jerk don't date him".....shes probably right. He probably did something to her that made him deserve the title. The most important thing to watch for though is how he treats his sisters and his mother. Every guy is a jerk to at least one girl. It's part of life. We all make mistakes. So I say we should give some of those guys who are really trying to be good guys a slack. and please ladies, if the guy was a jerk tell him. The problem wont go away if he doesn't know there is a problem.

If a girl seems upset about something and she says shes fine..shes probably not fine (although it depends on the girl) It is very possible that you said or did something to upset her. Shes not gona fess up to it though. So how do you know if shes mad at you if she doesn't say anything? you don't. You just hope that she is vocal enough to tell you were a jerk. Your only role is to apologize. If you don't think you did anything wrong apologize anyways because you will probably never understand and if you don't say you are sorry she will hold it against you forever. Once you know that she thinks you are jerk, work on not being a jerk. It will be good for both of you.
